Supporting Personal Development in schools

The Vincit Foundation have a target for 2018 to donate £20,000 to support an organisation that will take personal development education into one school for the entire academic year.

Transformational Sessions will run on a monthly basis to an entire year group and will consist of topics such as :

  • – Creating empowering beliefs
  • – Money management
  • – Relationship skills
  • – Health and Nutrition
  • – Making a difference

Supporting Chess in schools

The Vincit Foundation is working in partnership with Chess In Schools charity with the sole purpose of installing chess as a compulsory lesson in the country’s school curriculum. We believe chess can teach children a variety of essential skills such as: thinking ahead, consequences of actions, analyzing various scenarios, patience, being present, mindfulness, mathematics, geometry and sportsmanship.

These are skills we wish to instil into children at primary school level which will stay with them for the rest of their lives on a conscious and subconscious level.

The Vincit Foundation and Chess In Schools partnership is pleased to announce our first funded school to allow chess to be taught as part of their curriculum. The school is Falconbrook in Clapham where the Head has already seen great results in the children’s academic and social abilities.
